Render of upcoming Renault Twingo GT
Renault has already confirmed that there will be a Twingo GT, a more powerful version of the Renault Twingo. We don't have any hard details on what that vehicle will look like, but luckily we have X-Tomi Design to create a rendering of what the Renault Twingo GT could end up looking like.
You'll notice that the render uses the "RS" badge instead of the "GT" badge. We already know that the eventual final product will use the "GT" badge because it won't be powerful enough to wear the "RS" badge.
The Twingo GT will be less powerful than the now dead Twingo RS, which ran on a four-cylinder 1.6-liter engine that produced 135 hp. Instead, the Twingo GT will run on a three-cylinder 0.9-liter turbocharged engine that will be tuned to produce 110 - 120 hp.
It will also wear a more aggressive body and a dual exhaust system, which we know because of spy shots that were seen back in July.
We have no release date for the Renault Twingo GT yet, but it will likely come out sometime in 2016.
