Clever Trevor and his Advertisements

Heres to hoping that Renault continues with their cheeky advertising for Twingo. If you find a minute check out the Twingo Modern Times Campaign. Taste this...

This is a funny commercial that actually made me laugh and smile, but I don't think it does much to make me want to buy the Twingo. You barely even see the Twingo. So I'd give it a thumbs up for entertainment, but a thumbs down for converting sales.

Alright that last commercial about the Dad is great. I'm still not sold on how it has anything to do with the Twingo, but they have some really funny ideas here. I think the spot would work better if it was longer so it had a bit more time to relay some actual information about the Twingo.

Do you guys not see that as a big flaw in the commercial?

the point of the commercial is not to sell you a Twingo, but to sell you someone elses opinion of you in the Twingo. The message being that Twingo shoppers are modern and progressive, accepting of all, equaliser of many!

Its a slice of life spot, and far better off for not trying to sell you a Twingo...
