Smooth driving

Hi all just Purchased a 64 plate used twingo 3 dynamique 0.9 tce, loving the car, but, has anyone else had difficulty driving the car smoothly? , with the turbo kicking in at low revs or on inclines the car is very jerky. Is this normal???
Regards barry

Hi Barry,

Seems to be pretty normal for my TCE - it can be difficult to drive smoothly, particularly when cold. Even when warm if you lift the accelerator when the turbo is a somewhere near full boost, it can shut off very abruptly.

Talking to a Renault Master Tech when I had my car serviced he said it was a characteristic of the engine and the fact that the fuelling is at the bare minimum for emissions control.

I bought the Dual Clutch Automatic Twingo and its the best decision i ever made. I had a Panda Twinair manual before and I had constant issues driving it smoothly.

What a transmission, Its the only small car to get a EDC gearbox across competition. Go and get one, it'll be the best city car you've ever had!

Snot only is it a great city car......It holds the pace on motorways and cross country twisty roads too!
