TCe Remap

K-tec aren't interested in Twingo 3.
Superchips say my car has a non programmable Bosch Euro 6 ECU.
Celtic do a remap but think that Superchips are probably right and Twingo 3 cant be remapped (yet).

It can be remapped. I asked my local tuner about 0.9 TCe engine. He said that there is a remap available and it gives aditional 15hp. Also i have found an info about remap of 0.9 TCe on famous DigitallTuning company. The link is not for Twingo but it is for Captur. Thay basically have the same engine with some modifications so i suspect that ECU is same for Captur and Twingo. I am not absolutely sure but You can look for Yourself on this link:
http://www.digitaltuning.ch/prodotti...ng=ASC&id=4171
They say that gains are 23 hp and 45 Nm.

I don't think it is exactly the same enigine in the Captur, Clio, etc. They had to change a few things to mount it at 49%.

I would like to hear from anybody that has managed to get a remap on a twingo 3.

Yes, i know that there are some modifications because of small space for the engine. For instance, cylinders are on 49 degrees so the engine can fit. There also are more modifications but basically and structurally these are same engines.
Dont get me wrong, i am not telling that you can remap Twingo with the same map used for Clio or Captur. I am just saying that if Captur can be remapped, so can Twingo. It is only the question of which tuning house will recognise market potential for Twingo remap and do it first.
As i said earlier, i have information that remap allready exists but unfortinately i can not confirm what company does offer and install it.
So i am waiting also for some information from someone who actually did it.

This looks promising. I imagine the enigine in the smart is exactly the same as the one in the twingo.

The chiptuning box is connected to sensors on the engine. It isn't a remap, it just tricks the standard ecu in to added more fuel and boost. I can't find any reviews.

I didn't get a remap today as the engineer couldn't get the ECU out. It is held in place by 4 recessed tamper-proof bolts. The bolts could be machined out and replaced but not on my driveway.
